Destiny Muay Thai 32 returns to Brisbane with another championship-packed fight card, headlined by a major international heavyweight showdown as some of Queensland’s leading fighters and rising prospects take centre stage.

The main event features five rounds of heavyweight action with the WBC Oceania Heavyweight Title on the line, as Australia’s WBC National Champion Max Lesech looks to continue his rapid rise through the heavyweight ranks against New Zealand-based Tongan powerhouse Tonga Mataele.

Lesech enters the contest with serious momentum following a major victory at Destiny Muay Thai 31, where he defeated experienced NSW veteran Jesse Astill to capture the WBC Australian Heavyweight Title. The Gold Coast heavyweight now has the opportunity to add Oceania gold to his growing collection and take another significant step forward in his career.

Standing in his way is Mataele, who travels across the Tasman representing New Zealand and Tonga for a major international test between two powerful heavyweights. With the WBC Oceania crown at stake, the headline bout presents another opportunity for Lesech to establish himself among the region’s leading heavyweights.

The co-main event brings together two of Queensland’s fastest-rising Super Middleweights, with both fighters putting their perfect professional records on the line. Experienced Queensland campaigner Corey Crittenden reaches a major career milestone when he steps through the ropes for his 50th fight. Crittenden faces Mitch Ettridge, who enters on late notice to replace injured Urban Muay Thai stablemate Harry Ritter. Despite having just 11 fights compared to Crittenden’s extensive experience, Ettridge gets a major opportunity to test himself against one of Queensland’s most experienced active competitors.
