Destiny Muay Thai 31 brings a huge championship lineup to Brisbane this Saturday night, featuring four defending Queensland champions alongside a headline WBC Australian Heavyweight Title clash live from the Mansfield Tavern.

Headlining the event is a major heavyweight showdown as Gold Coast’s Maxi Le Sech — the reigning WBC and WMC Queensland Heavyweight Champion representing Boonchu Gym — faces the toughest challenge of his career against experienced New South Wales veteran and former WBC Australian Cruiserweight Champion Jesse Astill.

Le Sech enters the bout with strong momentum following his recent run through Queensland competition, while Astill brings valuable experience and national-level success into the championship clash.

The semi-main event sees newly crowned WBC Queensland Light Heavyweight Champion Declan Goldthorpe make the first defence of his title against Urban Muay Thai’s Harry Ritter. Goldthorpe captured the belt in dramatic fashion at Destiny Muay Thai 30 defeating Corey Crittenden via Round 5 Knockout and now looks to continue his rise in one of Australia’s strongest divisions.

Another title fight features WBC Queensland Middleweight Champion Jak Rishworth, who makes his first defence after defeating Levi Steel at Destiny Muay Thai 30. Originally scheduled to face Harry McIntyre before an injury withdrawal, Rishworth now takes on Strikeforce Gym’s WMC State Champion Dylan Zanetti, who accepted the fight on short notice in a highly anticipated matchup.

In another championship clash, Ascension Muay Thai’s Zac Lacarre-Covill makes the first defence of his WBC Queensland Super Lightweight Title against Art of Eight Muay Thai’s Ben Noller.

With multiple state titles on the line, established names, and rising contenders throughout the card, Destiny Muay Thai 31 promises another major night for Queensland Muay Thai.
