Kim Townsend Defends WBC World Title in Main Event
In the headline bout, Brisbane’s own “Lil Kim” Kim Townsend defends her WBC World Light Flyweight Championship for the second time.
Widely regarded as one of Australia’s greatest female Muay Thai athletes, Townsend is a 17-time World Champion across multiple organisations and weight divisions. She returns home riding strong momentum following a dominant WMC World Title defence in Switzerland, where she scored a clean 50–45 unanimous decision over Clémentine Eggs.
Standing across from her is England’s Shannon Kelly, representing Diablo Muaythai. A British Champion with 36 professional bouts, Kelly enters the contest ranked #4 in the world by the WBC and boasts an undefeated record at both Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadiums
For Townsend, this marks another high-stakes defence against a world-ranked opponent. For Kelly, it’s a chance to capture WBC gold on Australian soil.

WBC QLD State Light Heavyweight Title
Reigning champion Corey Crittenden makes his first defence since claiming the belt at Destiny Muay Thai 29 in November 2025. The Crittenden Muay Thai representative faces a dangerous challenger in Ipswich’s Declan Goldthorpe.
Goldthorpe is a former ISKA, WMO, WKBF and WBC Super Middleweight Champion, stepping up in weight to chase two-division WBC Queensland honours. Experience meets momentum in what shapes as a high-level state showdown.
Levi Steel (C) vs Jak Rishworth
WBC QLD State Middleweight Title
Current champion Levi Steel returns after capturing the title in March 2025 and successfully defending it in November. The Brisbane-based standout now faces Gold Coast contender “The Aussie Battler” Jak Rishworth of Outback Muay Thai.
Steel looks to secure his second defence, while Rishworth aims to derail the champion’s run and claim state gold.
Max Lesech vs Callum Godfrey
WBC QLD State Heavyweight Title
Heavyweights collide as Max Lesech of Boonchu Gym challenges former champion Callum Godfrey.

Standing in her way is Brisbane’s Shania Christensen of Ironfist Gym, looking to claim state honours in front of a hometown crowd.
