This Saturday, live from the nation’s capital, the Capital Combat Pro Series makes its anticipated debut — headlined by a WBC World Championship bout with history on the line.
Capital Combat Pro Series 1 features multiple WBC world and national title contests, delivering a stacked card to Canberra.
The main event sees Australia’s reigning WBC World Champion Zoe “My Way” Putorak attempt a record-breaking fourth world title defence as she faces Estonia’s WBC European Champion Sigrid “Terminator” Kapanen. A victory would cement Putorak’s place in Australian Muay Thai history.
In the semi-main event, Canberra-based Mongolian Super Lightweight standout Ray J Virahantorn clashes with Perth’s WBC State Champion Trent Hodgkinson of Kao Sok Muay Thai in a high-stakes interstate showdown.
Former WBC Middleweight Champion Jaxon Hayman, representing Darwin, moves up in weight to challenge for the vacant WBC Light Heavyweight Australian Title against Sydney’s Dion Beattie.
History will also be made in the women’s division as the first-ever WBC Australian Light Heavyweight Title is contested. Canberra’s own Tilly “The Dog” Bell faces Queensland’s Jasmine Lalor in a landmark bout for the division.
