This weekend marked the return of one of Melbourne’s premier Muay Thai events as Warriors Way 26 took over the Doncaster Shoppingtown Hotel. The fight card delivered with a night full of top-tier Victorian talent.

In the main event, former ONE Championship athlete, Chris Nguyen made a successful return to the ring, defeating southpaw Daniel Chen via decision in a strong performance resulting all three judges scoring the bout 50 – 45 in favour of Nguyen.

The WMC Australian Flyweight Title bout saw Victoria’s Somsurat Rangkla, representing 8 Blade Warriors, outpoint NSW’s Jane Koo who stepped in on just two week’s notice taking a well earned decision win in a technical contest.

The 4-Man Super Lightweight Tournament showcased some of the best up and coming talent in Victoria. Ben Killian emerged victorious, claiming two decision wins on the night over Keiaran Carr-Bannam and Jake Heavey to take home tournament honours.
