SRG Thaiboxing shines on RWS at Rajadamnern Stadium

It was a strong showing for Sydney’s SRG Thaiboxing team on Saturday night at Rajadamnern Stadium, with three of their athletes stepping into the ring under the RWS Muay Thai banner — and two walking away with dominant wins.
Rising star James Kostic continued his unbeaten run in the RWS arena, improving to 3-0 with a dominant performance over Thailand’s Kaoklai. The young Aussie showcased sharp technique and composure across all three rounds, earning a unanimous decision victory under the lights of Rajadamnern Stadium. The win further cements Kostic as one of Australia’s brightest Muay Thai prospects on the world stage.
Making her promotional debut, Dori Duncan opened the night in a thrilling clash against Thailand’s Petchmai. The bout quickly turned into a bloody back and forth battle, with both fighters securing a round apiece heading into the third. Drawing on her experience and composure, Duncan took control in the final round, outscoring her opponent to claim a well earned decision win and mark her arrival in RWS Muay Thai in style.
As Canada’s Stefan Dronjak failed to make weight, Belarus’s Pavel Hryshanovich was left without an opponent — until Australian-based German Paul Steffens, who was in Bangkok supporting his SRG teammates, stepped up on just 24 hours’ notice. Despite not getting the win, Steffens displayed incredible heart and put on a spirited performance to round out a memorable night for the SRG squad.
