The 28-year-old fighter, who represents The Muay U Gym in Canberra, entersthe bout ranked #2 in the Rajadamnern Stadium Minimumweight division, putting her within striking distance of one of the sport’s most prestigious honours.

Martin heads into the championship clash riding serious momentum. She is coming off three consecutive victories on the RWS Muay Thai series, with her most recent performance seeing her defeat Prajanchai via decision on 12 July 2025. Those wins have firmly established her as one of the top contenders in the division and earned her the historic title opportunity.

Before her run in Thailand, Martin had already built an impressive resume on home soil. In June 2022, she captured the WMC Australian Featherweight Title, defeating Dala Thongsamouth by decision at Siam 2 Sydney 21 in Sokol, Sydney. Less than a year later, in February 2023, she added the WBC Muay Thai Super Flyweight National Title to her collection with a decision victory over Marina Veríssimo at Muay Thai League 6 on the Gold Coast.

Now, Martin stands on the brink of the biggest moment of her career. A win over Mongkutpetch would not only see her crowned Rajadamnern Stadium Champion, but also mark a historic milestone for Australian Muay Thai on one of the sport’s most revered stages.

All eyes will be on Bangkok on February 21 as Devina Martin looks to turn a historic opportunity into a championship moment for herself and Australian Muay Thai.
