Gardiner now holds both the WBC World Super Featherweight (58.9kg) and WBC World Featherweight (57.1kg) titles. It marks another milestone in what has been a remarkable run for the 2024 and 2025 Aus MuayThai Female Fighter of the Year, who is currently riding an impressive 11-fight professional win streak. During this period Gardiner has also gone 3–0 on RWS Muay Thai and captured five world titles, cementing her place among Australia’s elite Muay Thai athletes.

In the feature bout of the evening, Thai superstar Taksinlek 168 made his Western Australian debut against hometown favourite Reece Corrigan. Corrigan, a three-time WA State Champion and WBC Australian National Champion, stepped into the biggest fight of his career. However, the elite experience of Taksinlek proved decisive as the Thai star controlled the bout to secure a clear decision victory.

Despite the loss, Corrigan demonstrated he belongs among the top super lightweight fighters in Australia, delivering a strong performance against one of the sport’s most respected international competitors.

In the women’s Flyweight division, Jasmine Rolfe of Kao Sok Muay Thai defeated Renee Youngs of Champions Gym to claim the WBC WA Flyweight State Title.
