Pride Fight Series IX Set for Sold-Out Return in Adelaide
South Australia’s biggest Muay Thai event returns in a major way this Saturday night as Pride Fight Series IX takes over a sold-out Harts Mill in Port Adelaide, featuring top Australian talent, interstate rivalries, and a WMC Australian title headliner.
The main event will see two of Australia’s top super lightweights collide, as Adelaide’s Nick Keros faces Gold Coast standout Jaga Chan for the WMC Australian Super Lightweight Title (63.5kg).
Representing Strikeforce Gym, Chan heads into the bout in strong form following his first round stoppage victory over Jye Van Polen last month on War On The Shore . The Gold Coast fighter now travels to enemy territory looking to capture national gold against one of South Australia’s most experienced names.
Standing across from him is hometown favourite and former WBC Australian Champion Nick Keros, who returns after an extended layoff. Keros has not competed since the Rebellion 8-Man Tournament in November 2024 and now makes his comeback in one of the biggest fights of his career in front of a packed Adelaide crowd.
Also featured on the card, Adelaide’s Jack Spacie returns to Pride Fight Series after capturing the WMC State Title in the main event of the promotion’s last instalment. This time, Spacie faces his toughest challenge yet as he takes on experienced Thai opponent Jimmie Sitmonchai in an international clash.
North Queensland welterweight Caleb “The Inspector” Curley continues his active 2026 campaign, stepping into his third fight of the year as he returns to Adelaide to face rising South Australian talent Tariq Luckens of Strong Heart Muay Thai.
With a sold-out venue, interstate matchups, and national title stakes, Pride Fight Series IX promises another huge night for South Australian Muay Thai.
