Rebellion Muay Thai kicked off its first event of 2025, “New Generation,” featuring a fresh roster of Australian talent. The event saw rising stars make their mark while seasoned fighters showcased their skills, setting the stage for a thrilling year of Rebellion Muay Thai action.

In the main event, Thai standout Taksinlek 168 made his highly anticipated Australian debut in dominant fashion, stopping Cambodian champion Sun Khun Khmer in 1 Min 26 Seconds in the very first-round via headkick KO

The co-main event saw Carter Lawrence prove too much for rising star Daniel Matthews, handing him his first professional loss. Lawrence showcased his experience and composure over five rounds, securing a hard-fought points victory and maintaining his spot as Victoria’s #1 Super Welterweight.

Australia’s James Kostic continued his momentum, earning another international victory with a points decision over Cambodian Kun Khmer star Chomroeun. This win moves his professional record to 10 fights, 8 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.

8 Blade Warrior’s promising prospect Dassakorn Saton faced his toughest challenge yet, going the distance to claim a points win over “Cobra” Kai Weate-Jones.

After 18 months out of the ring, Jack “The Manager” Bennett made a strong return, stopping Riddlers Gym’s Cody Basso Brusa via TKO in Round 2 in his Rebellion debut.

Notable performances on the Roots 28 undercard included Jack Windsor’s first-round KO victory over Jesse Scherger, and Michelle Russell’s dominant points win over Marina Verissimo.
