Muay Thai League 12: MTL 12 EVENT PREVIEW
Australian Muay Thai stars are set to light up the Gold Coast this Saturday night as Muay Thai League 12 returns to The Sopo Southport with a stacked card featuring some of Australia’s best talent going up against international opponents. The event will feature WBC Muay Thai World and WBC Australian Titles.
In the headline bout, guaranteed to deliver fireworks in the featherweight division, MTL fan favourite Brandon “Dynamite” Spain, known for his explosive fighting style, will face off against seasoned international opponent, the 350-fight Thai veteran Chaloemphon TPC.
The co-main event will showcase a massive International Welterweight match-up. Australia’s dynamic KO artist “Baby Yod” Albert Tuua steps in for the biggest fight of his 26-fight career. Tuua, currently boasting a 100% finish rate in his last five matches, faces ONE Championship superstar Thailand’s Rodlek PK, a former Channel 7 Stadium Champion and WMC World Champion with 177 fights, with notable victories over Liam Harrison, Seksan, Kulabdam & faced off with Rodtang, Petchmorakot, Panpayak, Nong O & more
In a feature bout, Australia’s flyweight star Lucille (Lucy Deadman) looks to continue her 14-fight Muay Thai win streak as she challenges RWS MuayThai regular & WBC World Ranked #4 Petchsupa for the vacant WBC Muay Thai Minimumweight World Title.
Brisbane’s Harry Sheppard will compete for the WBC Australian Super Lightweight Title after a successful defense of his WBC QLD Title at MTL 11. He faces Western Australia’s Max Milne from Riddlers Gym in a five-round battle for the belt.
