MTL 9 A League Of Their Own : EVENT PREVIEW
This Saturday night on the Gold Coast, Muay Thai League returns with their highly anticipated annual all-female fight card, “A League Of Their Own.” The event will feature 28 talented female fighters competing in 14 action-packed fights, including two title bouts.
Headlining the event is Australia’s #1 Mini Flyweight star, “Lucille” Lucy Deadman, who will once again step into the ring against an international opponent courtesy of MTL. This time, she will face the UK’s Jaggy Mann in a showdown for the MTL 45KG Title.
In the co-main event, Australian favourite Dori Duncan from SRG Thaiboxing will look to climb the world rankings as she faces WBC World Ranked #1 Scottish fighter Judy Humber, who fights out of Sinbi Thailand. These two formidable opponents will battle it out for the WBC Nak Muay Ying Challenge Belt, marking the first time this title will be contested in Australia.
Adding to the excitement, two clinch specialists will go head to head in the featherweight division as Brisbane’s Corban Harvey takes on Sydney’s Nong Bee.
