Australian Women’s Muay Thai Takes Centre Stage at JSMT Crown
Australian female Muay Thai takes centre stage this weekend as JSMT Crown launches in Melbourne, delivering a stacked 14-fight professional card featuring some of the country’s most experienced competitors and rising stars.
Hosted at the Doncaster Shoppingtown Hotel, the event is dedicated entirely to female Muay Thai athletes, showcasing the depth of talent currently competing across Australia.
Headlining the event is a highly anticipated showdown between Melbourne’s former WBC Australian Champion Erin “Notorious” Carter and returning contender Dori Duncan.
Carter returns looking to strengthen her position among Australia’s elite female fighters and will compete in her hometown of Melbourne in the first main event appearance of her career. Known for her aggressive style and forward pressure, Carter has established herself as one of Victoria’s leading female Muay Thai athletes.
Standing across the ring will be Dori Duncan, now representing her original gym, Singhaganta Muay Thai. Duncan makes her long-awaited return to competition after a successful international campaign, most recently earning victory at the world renowned Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) in Bangkok in April 2025. With both athletes possessing extensive experience and high-level technical skill, the five-round main event promises to be a showcase of elite Muay Thai.
The co-main event features a clash between two of Australia’s most accomplished female champions as reigning WBC and WMC Queensland Champion Jessie Geyl travels to Melbourne to face current WMC Australian Champion Allegra Vickas.
Vickas enters the bout carrying strong momentum following her 2025 AUS MuayThai Female Fight of the Year contender against Brittany Thomas and continues to establish herself among Australia’s top female fighters. Meanwhile, Geyl arrives fresh off a championship victory and knows a win over Vickas could position her for another Australian title opportunity in the near future.
Also featured on the card is an international matchup as American athlete Krystyna “TK” Mosher makes her Australian Muay Thai debut against Australia’s Samantha Maher from Third Eye Muay Thai. Mosher brings international experience into the contest, while Maher will be looking to defend home soil against the visiting American.
JSMT Crown arrives at a time when Australian women’s Muay Thai continues to grow, with local athletes finding success on national and international stages. The event provides a platform for both established names and emerging prospects to showcase their skills in front of a dedicated audience.
The 14-fight professional card features competitors representing gyms from across Australia, creating a strong mix of experienced campaigners, national champions, and future contenders.
