1774 Muay Thai Series Ninth Edition : EVENT PREVIEW

This Saturday night, all eyes will be on Yagoona in New South Wales as 1774 Muay Thai Promotions brings forth an electrifying showcase of Muay Thai talent. The event boasts an impressive lineup of international talent, promising an unforgettable evening of combat sports action for the first NSW Muaythai event of 2024

Headlining the event is a thrilling showdown between champions from Thailand and Cambodia. RWS Muay Thai Champion Yothin FA Group squares off against Cambodian superstar Bird Songkherm, contesting for the vacant WBC Muay Thai International Featherweight Title.

In a historic moment for women’s Muay Thai, the semi-main event features the inaugural contest for the WBC Super Lightweight World Title. Australia’s World Ranked #1 Zoe Putorak takes on USA’s World Ranked #2 Bree Knitter

The card also features a high-stakes battle for the WBC Super Welterweight International Title, with former champion Luis Cajaiba of Brazil facing Australia’s Jonathan Aiulu.

Tamworth’s own lightweight contender, the esteemed Josh Mucculloch, World ranked #18, steps into the ring for his sixth consecutive matchup against a Thai opponent. This time, he squares off against the formidable Thai Champion hailing from Bones Torquay, Mahamongkol.

The event also sees the WBC State NSW Super Featherweight Title up for grabs, as recent 2023 Aus MuayThai Rising Star Winner Brock Rowley takes on the slick “Singdam” Adam SRG.
