Muay Thai Super Series: EVENT RECAP & RESULTS

Western Australia’s newest Muay Thai promotion, “Muay Thai Super Series,” made a successful debut with a main card packed with devastating finishes and hard-fought five-round battles.

In the main event, UK Muay Thai star Alfie Ponting showcased why he’s considered one of the sport’s hottest prospects, successfully defending his WBC World Lightweight Title by delivering a destructive first-round KO against Italy’s former World Champion, Luca Falco.

Australia’s Bryony Soden gave a valiant effort in her quest for the WBC Super Bantamweight World Title but fell short in a five-round battle, with USA’s “Teep Queen” Selina Flores outscoring her to claim the world title.

In the heavyweight clash of the night, Perth’s Ashby Tink earned the WBC Australian Heavyweight Title, defeating NSW’s Blaise Taylor in an action-packed five-round contest.

Meanwhile, South Australia’s Anthony “Sniper” Gilbert made a statement in the Australian Lightweight division, claiming the WBC Australian Lightweight Title with a unanimous decision victory over “The Dreaded One” Nathan Embelton.
