Hardcore Promotions delivered an action-packed night at the Melbourne Pavilion this Saturday night. The event featured hard-fought battles and highlight-reel knockouts.
Australia’s dynamic WBC Australian Champion, Albert “Baby Yod” Tuua, faced Thailand’s Petch Sitmonchai. Albert ended the fight in the third round with a highlight-reel jump knee knockout, earning a WBC Nai Khanom Tom Challenge belt, The knockout a strong contender for the 2024 KO of the Year.
In a clash of WBC State Champions, hometown Victorian Erin “Notorious EZ” Carter claimed victory over WBC NSW Champion Allegra “Superlegs” Vickas via unanimous decision, becoming the new WBC Australian Super Featherweight Champion. Erin now sets her sights on the WBC Muay Ying Belt and a $20,000 cash prize in the upcoming Hardcore Promotions 8 Women Eliminator on October 19th at the Melbourne Pavilion.
Victorian veteran Alexi “The Great” Petroulias showed his class & experience with a dominant victory over Sydney’s Moey “187” Dahlan
Brandon Baresic from the Gold Coast claimed the WBC Welterweight Australian Title, defeating Western Australia’s “Black Panther” Nilson Laki by unanimous decision.
Jason Huynh was crowned the WBC Featherweight Victorian State Champion after defeating Alex Taylor by unanimous decision.
