Empire Fight Series Legacy

Empire Fight Series Legacy returns to Western Australia this Saturday, showcasing some of the state’s top Muay Thai talent live from Motormall Prestige & Performance, Terminal 3 in Wangara.

Headlining the event is a high-stakes WA vs SA interstate clash, as Perth’s WBC Muay Thai Welterweight WA State Champion Jayden Panucci takes on South Australia’s Corey Bartlett.

Panucci enters the bout riding strong momentum after capturing the WBC WA State Welterweight Title in late 2025. The Suay Muay Thai product now headlines Empire Fight Series Legacy with state pride on the line. Standing across from him is Bartlett, hailing from South Side Muay Thai Adelaide returns to the promotion following a stoppage victory over Nilson Laki, looking to make another statement on Western Australian soil.

All eyes will also be on the feature attraction of the night — the $5,000 winner-takes-all 4-man tournament at 64kg. Featuring an international lineup, the tournament brings together two Australians alongside fighters from Ireland and Argentina in a clash of styles. With fighters required to win twice in one night, the stakes couldn’t be higher as they battle for the $5,000 prize.

Representing Australia is Trent Hodgkinson of Kao Sok Muay Thai, the WBC WA State Lightweight Champion, who enters the tournament in strong form following a recent victory in Canberra. Joining him is Noah Combes of Monsters Inc Gym, a tough and aggressive fighter returning home to Perth with intentions of putting on a statement performance.

Ireland’s Connor O’Reilly, now based at Suay Muay Thai, has quickly made an impact on the WA scene after securing a stoppage win over one of Perth’s top super lightweights in his debut. He will be looking to continue that momentum in the tournament.

Rounding out the field is Argentina’s Facundo Bodach, who brings a diverse combat sports background in kickboxing and MMA, along with a karate foundation. Trained by Oliver Olsen out of Kickass MMA, Bodach makes his Muay Thai debut in the tournament and presents an unknown but dangerous challenge.

An international featherweight bout adds further depth to the card, as Perth’s own Shawah Jin of Lovett Muay Thai takes on experienced Thai veteran Asanee Sitmonchai, now based out of Pursuit Muay Thai, over three rounds.

In the middleweight division, two fighters make their Empire Fight Series debuts, with Jake Piggott of Scrappy MMA facing Liam O’Connor from Monsters Inc Muay Thai in a matchup that promises an intriguing clash of styles.

Another standout feature bout sees Ryan Smith of Three Lions Gym take on Pursuit Muay Thai’s Matt Diesel, a fighter known for his willingness to engage in all-out wars — making this one a must-watch contest on the card.

With a mix of interstate rivalries, international talent, and high-stakes tournament action, Empire Fight Series Legacy promises an exciting night of Muay Thai in Perth. The event will also feature a full D-Class undercard from the early afternoon, showcasing the next generation of Western Australian Muay Thai talent.
